  1. Payments

1.1 Payment Methods
Jammucity.com accepts various payment methods for transactions, including but not limited to credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, and third-party payment gateways, depending on your location and the specific products or services purchased.

All payments made through the Website for event tickets, virtual products, downloadable products, or event services will be processed via Jammucity.com’s integrated payment gateway(s). These gateways may involve additional transaction fees or charges, which are applicable to the specific method chosen by the customer.

1.2 Payment for Event Tickets
When purchasing event tickets through Jammucity.com, customers are required to make full payment at the time of booking. Once the payment is successfully processed, a ticket confirmation email will be sent to the customer, containing details of the event and the ticket(s) purchased.

1.3 Payment for Virtual Products and Downloadable Products
For virtual products (such as e-books, software, etc.) and downloadable products (such as digital media, music, etc.), payment must be completed in full at the time of purchase. After payment confirmation, the customer will be able to immediately download the product or access the virtual product as per the nature of the purchase.

1.4 Payment to Event Organizers
For event organizers who list events on Jammucity.com, payments for ticket sales will be collected by Jammucity.com on your behalf. These payments will be processed according to the following:

  • Payment Deduction: Jammucity.com will deduct the applicable service fees, payment gateway charges, and government taxes before releasing the payment to the event organizer.
  • Payment Hold: In case of any disputes, complaints, or government objections, payments to event organizers may be placed on hold until the issue is resolved.

  1. Refunds Policy

2.1 Refunds for Customers

2.1.1 Virtual Products and Downloadable Products
All sales of virtual products and downloadable products are final. Once a customer has purchased and downloaded a product, it is not eligible for a refund. This includes, but is not limited to, digital content such as e-books, software, videos, and music. Customers are advised to carefully review product descriptions and ensure compatibility with their systems before making a purchase.

2.1.2 Event Tickets

  • No Refunds for Ticket Cancellations: Once event tickets are booked and paid for, no refunds will be issued for cancellations initiated by the customer. It is the responsibility of the customer to confirm their ability to attend the event before completing the purchase.
  • Event Cancellations or Significant Changes by Organizer: If an event is canceled or significantly altered by the event organizer, customers may be eligible for a refund or an alternative, such as a rescheduled event or a transfer of tickets to another event. Refund eligibility in such cases will depend on the policies of the event organizer, and Jammucity.com will facilitate communication with the event organizer.
  • Refund Request Process: Customers wishing to request a refund for an event due to event cancellation or changes must submit a request within [X] days of the cancellation or alteration. The refund request will be processed in accordance with the organizer’s policy.

2.1.3 Event Services
Refunds for event services booked via Jammucity.com are handled directly by the event service provider. The refund eligibility for services rendered will depend on the status of the service execution. If services have already been provided in part or full, no refunds will be issued. Disputes regarding refunds for event services should be resolved directly with the service provider, and Jammucity.com will facilitate communication but is not liable for the outcome.

2.2 Refunds for Event Organizers

2.2.1 Refund Process for Event Organizers
If a customer requests a refund for an event ticket or service, and the refund is deemed valid by the event organizer, the refund will be processed through Jammucity.com. However, the organizer is required to fund any customer refunds and will be responsible for ensuring that refunds are issued in accordance with applicable laws and event terms.

2.2.2 Payment Hold
Payments to event organizers may be placed on hold for the following reasons:

  • Customer Disputes: If a customer disputes an event ticket charge or files a complaint that requires investigation, payments to the organizer may be held until the issue is resolved.
  • Government or Regulatory Objections: In case of any direction or objections raised by government authorities or regulatory bodies about the event, its content, or its compliance with local laws, payments may be withheld until the matter is resolved.
  • Event Non-Compliance: If the event organizer fails to comply with any of Jammucity.com’s policies or applicable laws, payment may be withheld or suspended until the issue is resolved.

2.2.3 Refunds in Case of Cancellations or Event Changes
If the event organizer cancels or significantly alters the event after tickets have been sold, the organizer may be required to issue refunds to the affected customers. In such cases, the refund amount will be processed by Jammucity.com and deducted from the organizer’s upcoming payments.

  1. Disputes and Chargebacks

3.1 Customer Disputes
If a customer raises a dispute regarding a purchase, Jammucity.com will initiate an investigation. During this period, Jammucity.com may place a hold on any payments related to the disputed transaction. The dispute will be resolved according to the policies of the payment gateway and applicable laws.

3.2 Chargebacks
If a customer initiates a chargeback (dispute of a credit card transaction) with their payment provider, Jammucity.com will work with the customer and the event organizer to resolve the issue. In the event of a successful chargeback, the event organizer may be required to reimburse Jammucity.com for the disputed amount, including any fees or penalties incurred as a result of the chargeback.

3.3 Event Organizer’s Liability in Case of Customer Dispute
If a customer dispute is upheld, the event organizer is responsible for refunding the customer and resolving any issues. Jammucity.com is not responsible for refunds due to disputes between customers and event organizers, but will assist in facilitating communication.

  1. Refund Timeline
  • Event Ticket Refunds: If a refund is issued due to event cancellation or significant changes, it will typically be processed within 7-14 business days after the approval of the refund request.
  • Event Service Refunds: Refunds for event services, if applicable, will be processed directly by the event service provider and in accordance with their refund policies.
  • Payment to Event Organizers: Payments to event organizers will be made after the completion of the event and after the necessary deductions (including service fees, payment gateway charges, and taxes). Payments may be held pending resolution of any disputes, complaints, or regulatory inquiries.

  1. Taxation and Applicable Fees

5.1 Service Fees
Jammucity.com charges a service fee to event organizers for listing their events and facilitating ticket sales on the platform. The fee is deducted from the total ticket sales before the payment is made to the organizer. The specific service fee percentage or amount will be communicated to the event organizer at the time of event listing.

5.2 Government Taxes
All applicable taxes (e.g., Goods and Services Tax (GST) or other local taxes) will be applied to the ticket price or services as per government regulations. The event organizer is responsible for complying with any tax laws and remitting any applicable taxes to the relevant authorities.

5.3 Payment Gateway Charges
Payment gateway providers may charge transaction fees, which will be deducted from the total amount of the transaction before the payment is transferred to the event organizer.
